Only 1 or 2 More Basketball Picks, Then it's On to Baseball

The regular NBA season is nearing an end, and we're just about done with basketball picks for the season. PickLogic is currently on a 3-game losing streak (our first losing streak longer than 2 games in over 6 weeks, and just the second in 4 months).

The timing of this particular streak isn't spectacular -- as you may remember from our last transition between sports (from baseball to basketball back in October), we will NOT carry a losing streak into another sport -- in other words, the wager amounts will start at a low level for the first pick of baseball.

That said, there are currently three scenarios remaining, ordered in likelihood of both preference and probability:

1) The selection for tomorrow (the OVER in the Knicks/Celtics game) is a winner - it'll be the last NBA pick, and the next selection will occur near the end of the week, for baseball. (In this scenario, our end results are: up 11.9% for the NBA season, up 9.45% for 2008, up 2.1% for April, and up 85.0% all-time.)

2) The selection for tomorrow is a loser, and the next (and final NBA) selection will occur on Tuesday or Wednesday, and it's a winner (and then there's a baseball pick towards the end of the week). (In this case, the end results are: up 11.6% for the NBA season, up 9.12% for 2008, up 1.8% for April, and up 84.7% all-time.)

3) Both selections this week are losers. Obviously, this is the worst-case scenario, and we'll have no choice but to take our losses and "start over" for the baseball season (with the first baseball pick at the end of the week, for a low wager amount). (The results in this case are vastly different: up a paltry 0.35% for the NBA season, down 5.2% for 2008, down 9.95% for April, and still up 70.4% all-time)

Let's hope we don't get to case 3, but everyone should be aware of the situation; one of these 3 scenarios WILL happen in the next few days.

We'll post again after the results of the next pick (or two).

WELL WELL WELL..........

Is Picklogic losing its steam.

Once again using a style such as theirs I cannot see how one can win in the longrun.Say goodbye to that 3o% + profit for this year.
